MCS Website Makes Stakeholders Access to Information Number One ConcernMCS places priority on relationships as driving force behind new website
TAMPA, Fla., Dec 14, 2010 - Mortgage Contracting Services LLC (MCS), a nationwide provider of property preservation, inspections and REO property maintenance to the financial services industry, has launched its new website aimed at broadening its reach as an industry resource and cultivating communication between its clients and industry partners.
To more accurately connect with specific industry stakeholders, the website's homepage offers individuals the ability to enter any one of five user portals: servicers, vendors, brokers, code compliance officers and attorneys. The different user options create a more intuitive and navigable experience to the site, as each is tailored to the needs of individuals identified in that group. The user portals were identified because these parties are an essential component to MCS' business and the servicing community, and each carry a different role; thus, the information and tools provided are custom-designed and content enriched.
"We have seen the mortgage servicing industry become increasingly complex over the last few years. The number of people and organizations involved in the process continues to rise and an increasing amount of information is scattered among various sources," said Caroline Reaves, CEO of Mortgage Contracting Services. "As stakeholders, we feel we have an obligation to encourage collaboration, and found ourselves in a position where we could offer a resource to the industry that would consolidate information from numerous sources and encourage stakeholder communication."
MCS is actively involved in code enforcement activity in communities across the nation. The code compliance portal details the company's involvement and offers online request capabilities for code enforcement representatives to contact MCS about free training sessions on the default servicing process or about individual cases of jurisdictional noncompliance. There is a separate "Code Compliance Legislation" page, which hosts an interactive map of all 50 states, allowing visitors to click their respective state to view the latest relevant compliance information.
Specific to servicers' visiting the site, MCS offers an overview of the company's longevity and experience as a top national field service company. Servicers also are provided links to explore MCS' full service offerings or submit a request for a proposal, as well as log in to access MCS360, the company's proprietary platform for real-time inspection and preservation work order information.
Vendors are given an overview of MCS' approach to vendor relations. The vendor portal enables visitors to begin the application process to become an MCS vendor. The site also provides vendors as well as all site visitors with valuable links to industry resources and related organizations.
For brokers, MCS included a link to its questions and comments form, showing the company's commitment to collaborate with these individuals when assigned to the disposition of REO properties in its clients' portfolios. Another element for brokers is information about Broker360, MCS' Web-based portal that strengthens the communication between brokers, servicers and MCS throughout the work order completion cycle.
Additionally, MCS has devoted a section of its website to attorneys. This section describes its comprehensive product suite for these individuals to adhere to the legal aspects of the default practice while relying on MCS to facilitate the actual field work.
Other website features include an interactive scroll of MCS' service offerings and latest company news, a conveniently located newsletter sign-up and an industry news feed. Added Reaves, "It is nice to be able to overhaul the site, but we wanted to do more than just make it aesthetically pleasing - we wanted to provide all industry stakeholders with a centralized information resource."
